Award-winning strategist, and leader based in the US, working and traveling around the world.

My career has taken me from New Zealand to the world, working in APAC, EMEA and the U.S. In addition to expertise in brand and campaign development, integrated marketing, experiential, and change management, I have a deep background in the study of human behavior. In particular I love exploring the science of individual and group decision making, heuristics and the complexity of hard-to-reach audiences.

My philosophy is essentially “sure, why not?” I come from a small country that makes a habit of punching well above our weight. We seem to just simply decide something should be done, and then set about making it happen. New Zealand was the first country to give everyone the right to vote, one of our boffins split the atom, another farmer was the first to fly (sorry Wright Brothers), and one of our best apiarists went off for a bit of a walk and with Sherpa Tenzing Norgay was part of the first team to climb Mt. Everest. We mostly win more Olympic medals per capita than anyone else (we see you Jamaica). And more recently we removed assault weapons from private use and kept covid out of the country for a year or so while we got organized. Nothing’s perfect, but we do it, and we do it all together.

So that’s how I do Strategy. Go big, go together.

Support each other’s wild and ambitious dreams? Sure, why not.
